AliceBARKER (HURLEY)Alice died peacefully at St Joseph’s Hospice, Thornton after bravely enduring a long period of illness. Beloved of Michael, her husband and her two children Dominic and Alison. She will be profoundly missed by them, her extended family and a wide circle of friends. Students and colleagues who encountered Alice over her long teaching career from Seafield to Savio may remember her fondly too.
There will be a funeral service at Southport Crematorium at 2.30pm on Wednesday 29th of January. She requested no flowers, but charitable donations instead to: St Joseph’s Hospice, Thornton or Queenscourt Hospice, Southport.
